Access to station

• The station is situated on either side of Station Road with separate entrances for each platform.
• Access to Platform 1 is via ramp off Station Road bridge.  Access to Platform 2 is by a graded footway off Station Road, opposite the Glen Primary Care Centre; by steps from Station Road bridge; or off Hedgeley Road via access road into station car park
• A car park with 70 unclassified parking spaces and 4 designated accessible bays is adjacent to Platform 2.

Access to ticketing areas 

• Platform 1 has ramp access from centre of Station Road bridge. Ramp is long but does have resting places and handrail on one side.
• Platform 2 has level access from station forecourt.

Access between platforms

• This station has a degree of step-free access to the platforms, which may be in both directions or in one direction only.
• Access via Station Road with dropped kerbs on crossing outside entrance Platform 1 ramp.
