Access to station
- Station is located on Norham Road with separate entrances to each platform.
- Platform 1 may be accessed either from Front Street or from the junction of Marmion Terrace and St. Ronan’s Road.
- Platform 2 may be accessed by three separate entrances on Norham Road.
- Car park off Norham Road with 21 unclassified parking bays and 1 designated accessible bay
Access to ticketing areas
- Platform 1 has steep ramp access from Front Street (no resting places but handrails both sides) or footpath with shallow gradient from Marmion Terrace.
- The principal entrances to Platform 2 off Norham Road are level but the entrance adjacent to the car park is ramped and very narrow.
Access between platforms
- This station has a degree of step-free access to the platforms, which may be in both directions or in one direction only.
- Via Front Street bridge at the west of the station. Note that both approaches, by the ramp from Platform 1 and by Norham Road from Platform 2 are quite steep.
- A footbridge is also available some distance to the east of the station, accessed on both sides by stairs and steep ramps.
