3. Laing Art Gallery

The gallery was founded in 1901. It is home to an internationally important collection of art focusing on British oil paintings, water colours, ceramics, silver and glassware. 4. Shipley Art Gallery

The Shipley Art Gallery opened in 1917 and the collection is now nearly at 800 paintings and collections of works on paper, decorative art and contemporary craft.
